The Anne Sullivan Centre, a charity part-funded by the Health Service Executive, provides residential accommodation in apartments and houses beside the centre and a day service. The centre itself provides a multisensory room, jacuzzi room, gym, meeting room and kitchen facilities.
The Anne Sullivan Centre works with both residential and day service users to develop alternative forms of communication, such as adapted and formal sign language, concrete symbols and raised pictures.
Specialist trained staff aim to facilitate service users to pursue meaningful, active and fulfilling lives through supporting a range of voluntary work, leisure activities and community outings. The centre strives to embrace the uniqueness of each individual service user by offering them personalised activity and communication plans.
