The Anne Sullivan Foundation is currently running a radio ad throughout September to raise awareness of deafblindness and highlight the work we do. Our mission is to enable the 13,635 (Central Statistics Office, 2016) people who are deafblind to live meaningful, active and fulfilling lives. We do this by providing residential, day, outreach and advocacy services. As people live longer, many more people are acquiring deafblindness later in life. Overall the demand for our services is increasing so we need to fundraise continuously.
The text transcript of the radio ad is: The Anne Sullivan Foundation is dedicated to supporting people in Ireland who are deafblind through our residential and day service facilities in Dublin and our advocacy and community outreach nationwide. Please support our vital work now or consider making a lasting gift to us in your will. For more visit annesullivan.ie . Thank you.
