EDbN is a nonprofit entity campaigning for greater recognition of deafblindness in Europe and the inclusion of the needs of deafblind people in European society and policy work. Passive Counterweight Spoon

The Spoon Steady is a useful adapted dining aid for the deafblind. An adjustable strap is used to secure it around the hand, reducing grip requirements. It has five independent parts and a counterweight ensures that the spoon stays in balance.

WeWALK Smart Cane

Smart Cane paired up with a smartphone app. WeWALK detects above-ground obstacles with ultrasound. It has a built-in touchpad used to control WeWALK’s features.
