National Disability Inclusion Strategy launched

On July 14th 2017, Minister of State for Disability Finian Mc Grath launched a new National Disability Inclusion Strategy spanning 2017 to 2021.

The Strategy will take a whole of Government approach to improving the lives of people with disabilities both in a practical sense, and also in creating the best possible opportunities for people with disabilities to fulfil their potential. The emphasis on increasing access to Irish Sign Language interpreters and increased supports for those with sensory disabilities is also welcomed.
